While we are not a company or organization, compliance with privacy and security is very important and we seek to comply with the GDPR’s requirements on handling your personal data.

This Privacy Policy consists of a modified version of the standard WordPress privacy policy, adapted with the information regarding our security, ethics and plugins.

We show ads in order to cover for the cost of running and keeping this website, but visitors from the European Union do not receive personalized ads, complying with GDPR.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Access to this website, and your data, is restricted by means of complex passwords, non-intuitive user names and limited access accounts. At the time of writing, only one individual has access to the data mentioned in this policy.

We use plugins to protect ourselves against brute-force entry. A firewall and antivirus are in place to protect the integrity of the site. Regular updates conform WordPress’ advice are performed. We do not transfer, sell or utilize your data for any other purposes than site analytics and security.

In the unfortunate event of a data breach we will inform our users through a front-page post. Should we have a mailing list in place, and you have opted in to that, you will also receive this information through the mailing list.
